One cup of chamomile tea can soothe stomach cramps and help relax the muscles. Another choice is the peppermint tea which works well for nausea and pain due to the presence of mint.

Relief for Cough or sore throat:

A sore throat is definitely uncomfortable and can be due to either a cold or some sort of infection. Trying out some home remedies can help you tide over this discomfort with ease.

Salt water gargling helps in bringing down the swelling in the throat and offers you the required relief. This can be done two to three times in a day. A glass of warm water with half a teaspoon of salt is the solution for sore throat.

Fresh pineapple juice or even a slice of pineapple helps in offering relief to a bad cough. The enzyme, bromelain, present in the pineapple helps in loosening the mucus and suppressing cough.

Migraine or headache:

You can try taking a warm shower or wrap an ice pack around your head. Tension in the neck or the temple can be eased with a gentle massage. Inhalation of lavender essential oil for 15 minutes can help you get some relief for the migraine you are going through.

You need to check with your doctor if you experience any difficulty in speaking, dizziness, a blurry vision, and shortness of breath or fever. In case you suffer from headaches for more than 3 times a week it is advisable to get it checked.
