You need 1 tablespoon of coconut oil and 2 to 3 drops of tea tree oil. Mix both of these and apply in a gentle manner to the area which is affected. As the tea tree oil is an antiseptic, it is used for the treatment of different skin problems. Due to the antifungal, antiviral and antibacterial properties of the tea tree oil it has proved to be effective in the treatment of diaper rash. This needs to be applied at least once a day.

  1. Plain Yogurt:

The baby needs to be of a certain age to start solids. In case eating yogurt is not possible you can even apply yogurt on the bottom of the baby. This needs to be done on a daily basis. Yogurt is considered to e a natural probiotic which is anti-inflammatory. This has proved effective in the treatment of various microbial and yeast infections.

To avoid risk of frequent diaper rash, you need to make an effort and ensure your baby is clean and dry all the time. You need to be aware that this rash can be caused if your baby is in contact with a wet diaper for a long period of time.
